Low-cost hosting
While there are a number of low-cost providers, the ones I am happy with are:- RamNode.
$15/year gives you 128 megs of memory, 12 gigs of disk space,
500 gigabytes of bandwidth, an IPv4 address, and IPv6.
Since the node is on a SSD, the speed is quite fast.
- BuyVM. This is the
original and most well-established and reliable low-cost virtual
server provider out there. $15/year gives you 128 megs of memory,
15 gigs of hard disk space, 500 gigabytes of bandwidth, one IPv4
address, and 16 IPv6 addresses.
Permission required before one runs a mailing list (to make sure the list is a listserv-style opt-in list instead of a spambot).
